Tutorial Fellow Grade XI (Library and Information Science)

This academic role is designed for individuals specializing in Library and Information Science, with a specific focus on Records and Archives Management, who are ready to contribute to teaching, academic research, and departmental advancement while pursuing their doctoral studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures and academic tutorials to students within the department.
• Focus instructional delivery on Records and Archives Management.
• Participate in research projects and publish findings in recognized academic journals.
• Support departmental operations, exam invigilation, and student academic advising.
• Work progressively towards acquiring a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Academic Degree: Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, specializing in Records and Archives Management, from a recognized university.
• Doctoral Registerability: Must be eligible and ready to register for a PhD or equivalent doctoral degree.
• Professional Association: Active registration with a relevant professional body is required.

Remuneration

• Salary Scale: Kshs. 107,872.00 – Kshs. 166,072.00 per month.
