We are seeking a qualified and motivated Tutorial Fellow in Film and Animation to deliver high-quality instruction, participate in academic research, and support course development within the department.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach in areas allocated by the Head of Department.
Design, develop, plan and deliver a range of programmes of study, sometimes for entirely new courses at various levels.
Deliver high-quality lectures and practicals.
Review course content and materials on a regular basis, updating when required.
Collaborate with academic colleagues on course development, curriculum changes and the development of research activities.
Carry out research and write research grant proposals.
Seek and participate in consultancies.
Present research papers at national or international conferences and other similar events.
Dissemination of research outputs.
Provide mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisors.
Qualification and Experience
Registered or be registerable for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or equivalent Doctoral degree qualification in Film and Animation.
A Master's & Bachelor's qualification in Film and Animation from an accredited University.
At least three (3) years of post-qualification work experience.
Demonstrated university-level teaching and research experience.
Be registered or registrable with the relevant professional body (where applicable).
