This full-time on-site role for Trainers/Lecturers in Thika involves preparing and delivering lectures, designing engaging learning materials, evaluating student performance, and facilitating hands-on training sessions. Trainers/Lecturers are expected to mentor students, collaborate on curricula improvements, and maintain current knowledge in their subject areas.
Responsibilities
Preparing and delivering high-quality lectures to students.
Designing engaging learning materials and instructional aids.
Evaluating and assessing student performance and progress.
Facilitating hands-on training and practical sessions.
Mentoring and guiding students to achieve excellence in their respective fields.
Collaborating with colleagues to refine and improve the institutional curricula.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on developments within health sciences and related fields.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
Advanced degrees (MBA/MSc/MA) or professional certifications are an advantage.
Proficiency in subject-specific knowledge related to health sciences, social sciences, applied sciences, or human nutrition.
Previous teaching or training experience in higher education is preferred.
Excellent communication, teaching, and public speaking skills.
Experience in curriculum development and educational planning.
Strong research, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
