Role Overview
BAYE Africa, in partnership with the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA), invites qualified and passionate professionals to apply as trainers for the Socio-Economic Skills Development (SESD) component under the NYOTA Program. NYOTA is a landmark initiative by the Government of Kenya, funded by the World Bank, aimed at transforming the lives of vulnerable youth. Over five years, NYOTA will create employment opportunities, enhance income generation, and promote savings among the youth population.

Key Responsibilities
Facilitate and deliver training programs on Socio-Economic Skills Development (SESD).
Support and mentor young people in developing business ideas, digital competencies, and financial literacy.
Deliver training on digital tools, online business, and e-commerce to enhance livelihood opportunities.
Drive positive community change through results-oriented youth empowerment activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Education, Business, Social Sciences, Community Development, Agribusiness, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in training, facilitation, or youth skills development.
Domain Expertise: Proven experience in SESD, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, or digital skills training.
Key Competencies: Strong communication, facilitation, and mentoring skills.
ASAL Experience: Experience working in ASAL (Arid and Semi-Arid Lands) regions is an added advantage.
