Job Description
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) is inviting applications from qualified practicing teachers and tutors to be trained as examiners for the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA). This training opportunity is aimed at equipping educators with the necessary skills to assess and mark national examinations effectively, ensuring high standards of educational assessment in Kenya.
General Requirements for Applicants
Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be a practicing teacher/tutor in the relevant subject areas in the level of examination or above.
Be registered and/or employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) or Public Service Commission.
Have a Diploma in Education and above.
Have a minimum teaching experience of three (3) years.
NOT be on interdiction or any other form of disciplinary action by the TSC/employer.
Be recommended by his/her Head of Institution.
Be 50 years of age and below.
