Job Description

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) is seeking qualified practicing teachers to train as examiners for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE). Selected candidates will undergo specialized training to handle examination grading and evaluation.

General Requirements for Applicants

Interested applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Must be a practicing teacher/tutor in the relevant subject areas at the level of examination or above.
Must be registered and/or employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) or Public Service Commission.
Must hold a minimum of a Diploma in Education or above.
Must have a minimum teaching experience of three (3) years.
Must NOT be on interdiction or any other form of disciplinary action by the TSC or employer.
Must be recommended by his/her Head of Institution.
Must be 50 years of age and below.
