Job Description
The Embu County Government is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Tourism Officer. This role is central to the county's efforts in managing and promoting its local tourism sector, ensuring sustainable growth and engagement with diverse stakeholders.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
A Bachelor's degree in any of the following disciplines: Environmental studies, Sociology, Geography, Business Administration, Commerce (Marketing option), or International Relations from a recognized institution.
Mandatory Requirements for Shortlisted Candidates
Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide original versions of the following documents during the interview:
National Identity Card (ID).
Academic and professional certificates.
Current Chapter Six clearance documents from:
Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI/Certificate of Good Conduct).
