Role Overview
Stellar Human Resource Solutions is a Human Resource Management Consulting Company based in Nairobi, Kenya. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tour Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for travel and tourism, particularly within the East African region, and possess the skills necessary to create memorable safari experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities and Duties
Design and customize comprehensive safari itineraries for destinations in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for travel packages.
Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial inquiry to final booking.
Communicate professionally with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.
Negotiate terms and services with suppliers and partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Utilize travel booking systems efficiently to manage reservations.
Provide expert advice on regional destinations and travel logistics.
Qualifications and Requirements
A Diploma or Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience working within a travel or safari company.
Strong, in-depth knowledge of safari destinations across Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
Demonstrated ability to design creative safari itineraries and prepare detailed quotations.
Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills.
Experience with travel booking systems is considered a significant advantage.
