Job Description
The Tooling & Automation Lead is a Senior Manager-level role responsible for identifying, implementing, and managing the technology tools and automation capabilities that underpin KPMG T&I's delivery operations. This role removes manual effort from the delivery workflow — automating governance, reporting, communication, and testing processes — and ensures that KPMG T&I's internal delivery infrastructure keeps pace with the growing scale and complexity of the portfolio. As AI-powered tooling increasingly transforms professional services delivery, this role ensures KPMG T&I remains at the leading edge of technology-enabled service delivery.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Identify, implement, and manage technology tools and automation capabilities that underpin delivery operations.
Automate governance, reporting, communication, and testing processes within the delivery workflow.
Ensure internal delivery infrastructure maintains pace with the growing scale and complexity of the portfolio.
Leverage AI-powered tooling to transform professional services delivery.
Build automation workflows using low-code/no-code platforms and scripting.
Relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
Certification in at least one automation or DevOps platform (e.g., Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, Robotic Process Automation, or equivalent).
Minimum 8 years of experience in technology delivery or operations.
At least 3 years in a tooling, automation, or DevOps engineering role.
Experience and Skills Required
Hands-on experience building automation workflows using low-code/no-code platforms such as Power Automate, Zapier, or Make.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Experience with project management tooling like Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Smartsheet.
Proven experience with portfolio reporting automation.
Exposure to AI-powered productivity tools and their application in professional services delivery.
