The Territory Sales Leader joins Jamii Telecommunications in an entry-level supervisory capacity, reporting to the Regional Manager. The primary focus of this role is to execute marketing strategies that drive subscriber growth and manage the sales network within a designated territory. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that agent and reseller staffing levels are optimized to meet and exceed acquisition targets.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment, training, and supervision of sales agents and Trade Representatives within the allocated zone.
Agent Management:
Target Achievement: Driving sales initiatives to ensure zonal acquisition targets are met or surpassed.
Pipeline Development: Maintaining a robust pipeline of customers, agents, and trade development representatives.
Strategic Planning: Overseeing the implementation of both short-term and long-term sales plans within the business environment.
Channel Supervision: Monitoring the performance and implementation of various sales channels.
Reporting: Preparing and presenting detailed sales reports and strategic plans using Microsoft Office tools.
Integrity: Demonstrating a high work ethic and integrity in all business dealings.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in team leadership within a commercial environment.
Specialized Experience: Previous experience in Zonal Management is required; experience in the FMCG industry is a significant advantage.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Route to Market (RTM) strategies, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication and influencing abilities with proven analytical and strategic thinking skills.
CRM: Solid understanding of Customer Relationship Management principles.
