Dimkes Sacco is seeking a Teller to handle daily financial transactions and provide exceptional customer service to its members. The role involves managing front-line cashiering duties, facilitating account operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while actively promoting the Sacco's products.
Key Responsibilities
Cashiering Operations: Perform cash and cheque deposits, loan repayments, withdrawals, in-house cheque transfers, and maintain daily cash balancing.
Account Management: Open new accounts for members in strict accordance with Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines.
Customer Service: Provide general assistance to members, handle inquiries, and resolve customer complaints effectively.
Credit Support: Conduct loan appraisals in the absence of a dedicated credit officer.
Administration: Manage office filing and record-keeping, and perform daily journal postings.
Marketing: Promote and market Sacco products both within and outside the workplace to grow the membership base.
Compliance: Ensure full adherence to KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines.
Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to the branch manager.
Requirements
Academic: A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant working experience.
Certifications: Professional certifications are considered an added advantage.
Integrity: Successful candidates must fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
Skills and Attributes

High level of accuracy in transaction handling.
