Technician – Eldoret Branch

• Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out scheduled vehicle maintenance as per CFAO Mobility Kenya standards to ensure quality work is done in a timely manner.
• Vehicle Repairs: Repair customer vehicles as per customer requests in line with the CFAO Mobility Kenya 'fix it right the first time' principle, to support high customer retention rates as well as minimized repeat jobs.
• Customer Complaints: Respond to and handle customers' complaints promptly to avert misunderstandings and the risk of losing customers.
• Technical Support: Support less experienced technicians with the diagnosis of complex repairs/service to ensure customers are provided with high quality service, and to pass on experience and knowledge to the less experienced team.
• Customer Advisory: Advice customers through service advisors on the reparability of their vehicles and time required without compromising on the company policy, to ensure the customers are well informed for minimal complaints.
• Housekeeping: Clean the work area (bay) in compliance with 4S standards to ensure the workstation is always safe, clean and tidy.
• Defect Reporting: Properly inspect vehicles to accurately identify faults and generate timely, clear & precise defect reports for up-selling to generate required revenue.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• Certification: Certified Technician will be an added advantage.
• Experience: 4 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge: Product and technical knowledge.
• Attributes: Customer Oriented.
