As a Technical Sales Engineer at National Oilwell Varco (NOV), you will be a key member of our team responsible for driving growth and managing technical relationships within the drilling sector.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their drilling plans and operational needs.
Promote and deliver tailored ReedHycalog solutions to maximize performance and value.
Identify new business opportunities, support tender processes, and expand market share.
Track market intelligence, competitor activity, and product performance.
Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure successful tool runs and customer satisfaction.
Manage the full sales cycle—from order processing to invoicing and payment follow-ups.
Drive revenue growth and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
Requirements
A university degree (engineering preferred) or equivalent experience.
Proven sales experience, ideally within oil & gas or drilling environments.
Strong understanding of drilling, geology, or hydraulics (advantageous).
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivation, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.
Strong problem-solving and time management abilities.
