The Technical Intern supports field installations, equipment recovery, and customer support activities, focusing on SME/Enterprise clients. The role involves ensuring quality installations, maintaining customer satisfaction, and assisting the technical and sales teams to meet service and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Support SME/Enterprise installations and repairs.
Manage installation orders to meet revenue goals.
Provide timely feedback and reports on installation progress.
Liaise between clients, contractors, and design teams.
Commission and test equipment post-installation.
Ensure compliance with safety and operational policies.
Be available for emergency technical support.
Requirements and Qualifications
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
At least 6 months of ISP field installation experience.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Customer-focused with solid technical and organizational abilities.
Candidates who can ride motorbikes and hold a valid license will be preferred.
Ability to work in Garissa (and potentially Mariakani or Ukunda).
