We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of Key Stage 1 to join our team as a Maternity Reliever.
Role Overview
The Teacher of Key Stage 1 will be responsible for delivering the British Curriculum to young learners. The successful candidate will create a stimulating learning environment, ensuring high standards of child safeguarding and actively participating in the school's academic and co-curricular life.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, effective, and age-appropriate learning sessions to Key Stage 1 students according to the British Curriculum.
Maintain and strictly adhere to high-level child safeguarding and protection standards.
Participate in collaborative academic planning and departmental meetings.
Engage in and support co-curricular activities and school events.
Manage classroom behavior effectively and implement instructional plans to meet diverse learning needs.
Qualifications and Experience
A Bachelor's degree in Education or an equivalent professional specialization.
A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience specifically under the British curriculum.
Valid registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is mandatory.
Proven experience in IGCSE teaching methodologies is mandatory.
Strong classroom management and instructional planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
