Support Manager (Military)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage site operations while ensuring compliance with contracts, regulations, policies, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate customer operational support by working with local and international teams, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain smooth operations.
• Build strong customer relationships and act as the primary contact for training support, collaborating with planners and leaders to optimize training effectiveness.
• Maintain operational availability of all equipment in accordance with the agreed contract, carrying out routine maintenance and repairs as necessary.
• Ensure that the training systems delivered & Simulation are maintained and that the configuration is optimized.
• Ensure spare stock holdings are fit for purpose and that they meet the requirements of the support contract.
• Act quickly on requests from the customer, fulfilling them where appropriate and finding alternative solutions when needed.
• Deploy on field exercises in support of Kenyan and multinational Armed Forces, providing field-based and back-office support to your team and the customer.

Key Qualifications

• BA/BSc/HND qualification.
• Strong understanding of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) and operational support delivery.
• MUST HAVE experience working in a military training environment.
• Leadership experience within military, defence, technical support, or operational environments.
• Technical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Financial management and budget oversight experience.
• Fluency in English and Swahili, with ability to travel locally and internationally (Passport required).
