Role Overview
The National Legal Aid Service (NLAS) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Supply Chain Management Assistant I (Grade 7). This role is key in ensuring the smooth running of the service's supply chain operations, including stock management, reconciliation, and inventory control.
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparing requisitions for stock items.
Participating in conducting periodic stock take.
Conducting stock take and generating reports.
Reconciling of stores, contracts and payment documents.
Identifying unserviceable and obsolete assets.
Maintaining inventory levels through stock control.
Preparing local purchase and supply orders.
Participating in receiving and inspection of goods.
Ensuring security and safety of stores and equipment.
Processing payments as per the contract terms.
Qualifications and Experience
At least six (6) years of cumulative work experience, with at least three (3) years at the grade of Supply Chain Management Assistant II or in a comparable position in the private or public sector.
Diploma in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
Proficiency in Computer Application Skills.
