The Capital Markets Authority (CMA) is a statutory agency charged with the responsibility of regulating and developing efficient Capital Markets in Kenya. This is a 3-month (non-renewable) student attachment opportunity within the Market Supervision department. Reporting to the Senior Manager Market Supervision, the selected candidate will be integrated into the departmental workflows to gain practical experience in capital markets regulation and administration.
Responsibilities
Support in compiling and updating databases in the department for ease of access and speedy data retrieval.
Collection of market news in reference to the licensed entities and listed companies.
Administration support in the department including preparation of letters and other correspondences.
Providing rapporteuring support for departmental events, including trainings and workshops.
Requirements
Must be a continuing student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
