KEDA Kenya Ceramics Company Limited is looking for qualified candidates to fill the positions of Steel Fixers (10 Positions) at their facility in Miwani, Kisumu County.
Job Purpose
The Steel Fixer will be responsible for positioning and securing steel bars and mesh used to reinforce concrete structures during construction and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Interpret structural drawings and technical plans to determine layout.
Cut, bend, and shape steel bars, rebar, or mesh using hand and power tools.
Assemble and join steel reinforcement using wire, clips, or welding.
Position and secure reinforcement structures within concrete formwork.
Ensure all work complies with engineering specifications and construction safety standards.
Requirements
Education: BA, BSc, HND, or a Professional Certificate in a relevant technical field.
Certification: All applicants must be NITA credited/certified in their respective trade.
Skills: Ability to read civil engineering blueprints, strong technical hand-tool skills, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety regulations.
