Special Need Education Teacher

Responsibilities

• Instruction and Lesson Delivery: Plan and teach lessons in line with the curriculum, utilizing appropriate teaching methods to support student understanding and engagement.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Prepare tests, assignments, and exams; mark and provide feedback; and monitor and record students' academic progress.
• Classroom Management: Maintain discipline, create a safe and inclusive learning environment, and manage student behavior effectively.
• Student Support and Guidance: Mentor and guide students on academic and personal development, identify learning difficulties, and refer cases where necessary.
• Professional and Administrative Duties: Attend staff meetings, prepare schemes of work and lesson plans, maintain records, communicate with parents/guardians, and participate in school activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Education.
• At least two years of post-graduation teaching experience.
• Valid registration with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• Proficiency in office software (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Willingness and ability to live, work, and travel in a fast-paced and potentially insecure environment, adhering to strict security guidelines.
