Ericsson is looking for a Sourcing Business Partner to actively contribute to securing short and long-term profitable business. In this role, you will drive higher value contribution from third-party deliveries by engaging with partner organizations early in the process. You will be responsible for ensuring that relevant category strategies and preferred supplier lists (PSL) are endorsed through active participation in strategic sales and product/project forums, including business and product decision meetings.
You will promote new business ideas based on optimized value extraction through collaboration with third parties and Ericsson's supplier base, benchmarking, and sourcing strategies. You will be accountable for the sourcing contribution to business opportunities and ensuring projects are delivered to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Partnering with Business: Commit to partnering with the business as a dedicated advisor for engagement.
Strategic Planning: Inspire business ideas and strategies, and maintain the Preferred Supplier List (PSL).
Profitability: Hold sourcing accountable for profitability and optimize sourcing performance targets.
Project Support: Provide support for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) sourcing projects.
Sales Engagement: Actively contribute to the sales process to help win profitable business.
Value Augmentation: Be accountable for augmenting sourcing value towards business opportunities.
Requirements and Qualifications
At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing sourcing solutions.
A first academic degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
Extensive experience in both direct and indirect sourcing.
In-depth knowledge of sourcing practices, processes, and strategies.
Strong business modelling and demand management skills.
Proficiency in change and improvement management.
High level of commercial acumen and skills.
Strong understanding of local laws and regulations.
Proven ability in deciding and initiating action.
