Sonographer

This position is responsible for performing high-quality radiological services using ultrasound technology and providing accurate diagnostic information to assist in patient care. The position holder will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to perform diagnostic procedures, obtain and interpret images, and assist in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiological services using ultrasound technology.
• Provide accurate diagnostic information to assist in patient care.

• Write detailed diagnostic reports using relevant reporting skills.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma in Ultrasound and/or Radiology.
• Diploma in Medical Imaging Sciences.
• At least one (1) year of work experience.
• Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Nuclear Regulatory Authority.
• Member of the Society of Radiography in Kenya (SORK).
• Proficiency in computer skills, especially Health Management Information Systems (HMIS).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
