Job Description
We are hiring a Somalia Market Manager (Marketing Promotion Officer) to support our client's brand and marketing activities specifically for the Somalia market. Working closely with the Kenya-based team, this role acts as a critical link in regional expansion and brand presence. The position requires frequent travel between Nairobi and Somalia to oversee local execution and partner coordination.
Responsibilities
Execute brand and product promotion activities specifically targeted at the Somalia market.
Collaborate closely with the Kenya team on regional marketing projects and strategies.
Support local market activities, including retail promotions and the physical execution of marketing materials.
Coordinate with local partners and distribution channels within Somalia.
Collect market feedback and data to support the optimization of marketing strategies.
Requirements
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree in a relevant field.
Language: Must be a native Somali speaker with excellent English communication skills.
Experience: Prior experience in marketing, promotion, or brand execution is preferred.
Mobility: Able and willing to work and travel frequently between Nairobi and Somalia.
Additional Skills: Skills in design, video editing, or content creation are a strong plus.
