Role Overview
The Shop Manager will drive the revenue and profitability of the shops within their allocated Retail cluster. The role involves managing sales projections, enforcing SOPs, maintaining the shops' visual standards, handling cash reconciliations, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Profitability: Drive the revenue and profitability of the shops within the allocated Retail cluster.
Reporting & Planning: Prepare reports and sales projections/planning.
Operations: Enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all stores within the cluster.
Store Presentation: Manage the shops' look and feel (merchandising consistent with the brand, uniforms, and consistency in animation activities inside/outside the shop).
Inventory Management: Manage the balance between consignment stocks and DFP sales with an objective of maximizing device sales.
Cash Management: Maintain accuracy and integrity in EJaze, Tkash, cash reconciliations, and reporting.
Auditing & Training: Audit adherence to policies and procedures and execute necessary actions (team training, stock takes, customer experience surveys).
Stakeholder Engagement & Team Leadership
External Relations: Represent the company with local authorities, adopting a proactive attitude to seek business and promotional activities.
Lead Generation: Identify and provide potential sales leads to relevant stakeholders in Enterprise or Mobile divisions.
People & Performance Management: Drive a performance culture, hold weekly meetings with teams, manage staff welfare, and manage staff retention, attrition, and replacement.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or Diploma).
Experience: 2 – 3 years of experience in sales and retail management.
