As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting well construction and production objectives through specialized applications engineering. This role involves designing well profiles, performing risk assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with the manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
Work with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesperson to understand the client’s well construction or production objectives.
Design well profiles and perform applications engineering tasks, including risk mitigation and contingency plans, to meet client objectives, maximize revenue potential, and ensure future job assignments for Baker Hughes.
Work on Field Incidents related to products/services.
Participate in Incident Investigations when required, ensuring the end-to-end process is followed.
Provide sales support and product application recommendations.
Handle special projects as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Well Planning / Applications Engineering roles within Drilling Services.
Ability to speak and write in English at an advanced level.
Ability to travel (potential for travel to rig sites, customer facilities, meetings, training, etc.).
Ability to be on call outside of normal business hours.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and planning skills.
