Safal Group is seeking a Service Centre Manager to oversee the overall operations and performance of their Service Centre in Nairobi. This role is pivotal in managing inventory, ensuring facility safety, and driving significant sales growth within the assigned region. The successful candidate will lead a direct sales team, manage walk-in customers, and coordinate with distributors to ensure high service standards and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Service Centre Operations: Manage overall operations including profiling activities, coil and finished goods inventory management, and maintaining a safe, orderly facility.
Drive Direct Sales Performance: Lead and manage the direct sales team to grow business and achieve regional sales targets.
Manage Walk-in Customer Sales: Ensure efficient handling of walk-in enquiries and sales while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Coordinate Distribution Orders: Ensure distributor orders are accurately profiled and dispatched per Customer Service Department instructions.
Support Project Sales: Coordinate and drive project sales opportunities in collaboration with Technical Sales Representatives.
Implement Marketing Initiatives: Execute MARCOM activities and promotional programs in collaboration with the Marketing team.
Promote Roofing Solutions: Drive growth by promoting bundled sales of roofing sheets, accessories, and truss systems.
Manage Profitability: Monitor performance to achieve targeted contribution margins per metric ton (MT).
Requirements and Qualifications
Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any business-related field.
Added Advantage: Diploma in Sales & Marketing.
General Experience: 7-10 years of overall work experience.
Specific Experience: 2-3 years at a similar level or discipline.
Industry Background: Experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, or the Building industry.
