Senior Technologist - Medical Microbiology

Responsibilities

• In charge of the laboratory and supervision of other laboratory staff.
• Assist in supervision of research projects in the laboratory.
• Prepare course work materials and lessons for students' practicals in the University.
• Prepare and manage students' laboratory work for practical lessons in the Department.
• Ensuring the safety and security of laboratory apparatus and equipment.
• Supervise postgraduate and undergraduate students working on academic projects in the Department.
• Any other duty as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Requirements for Appointment

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, or any other relevant medical field.
• At least Three (3) years of relevant work experience in a medical field.
• A registered member of a relevant professional body with a valid practicing license.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
