Role Overview
The Technology department is responsible for the Development, Realization and Implementation of the strategic Digital Product Roadmap for Rainforest Alliance (including all supporting Technology processes), for all Global Business Initiatives and Assurance programs. We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer with expertise in .NET technologies and reasonable exposure to cloud services. You will develop and maintain our in-house products, optimizing application performance, and driving best practices in cloud infrastructure and security.
Responsibilities
Promote the custom portal using .NET, C#.
Optimize application performance and ensure scalability for a high-traffic environment.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and messaging systems for seamless data exchange.
Work with Azure Container Apps and Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
Ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices.
Integrate Terraform into CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning.
Work with Aspire, Docker and containerization to refine application deployment.
Develop automated testing and deployment strategies to enhance reliability.
Collaborate with teams to lead architectural decisions and new ideas.
Work with decentralized teams across multiple locations and time zones.
Work as a team player and influence System Design & Architecture.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in .NET development with expertise in .NET and C#.
Experience with RESTful API development and best practices.
Hands-on experience with Container Apps and DevOps pipelines.
Proficiency in SQL for data storage.
Experience with security standards and best practices for application development.
Practical knowledge of Docker and containerized application deployment.
Familiarity with testing and deployment automation tools.
Experience collaborating and communicating with decentralized teams.
