The Senior Manager, Education leads the development and execution of the Education Institutions MSME sector strategy, ensuring alignment with overall retail and MSME business objectives. The role identifies market opportunities through continuous monitoring of sector trends and drives initiatives that enhance growth and competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the Education Institutions MSME sector strategy.
Identify market opportunities through continuous monitoring of sector trends and drive initiatives to enhance growth.
Oversee the Education Institutions MSME team, ensuring effective resourcing, capability building, and collaboration across Branch and Digital channels.
Partner with product and innovation teams to design sector-specific financial solutions, including tailored lending and payment tools.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory, operational, and risk management requirements within the portfolio.
Monitor financial performance, customer satisfaction, and retention metrics to sustain growth and strengthen the value proposition.
Daily Responsibilities
Develop and implement sector-specific strategies for Education Institutions.
Monitor sector trends and identify business development opportunities.
Ensure appropriate resourcing and development of the team.
Support cross-functional collaboration with Branch and Digital teams.
Coach and build a motivated team with specialized sector knowledge.
Collaborate on product solutions development, including sector-specific lending and payment tools.
Adhere to compliance, operational, and risk management requirements.
Shape the customer value proposition and retention strategies.
Improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Set, monitor, and report on financial targets.
Minimum Requirements
Academic & Professional:
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university (Required).
Master’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field (Added Advantage).
Professional qualification in Project Management or a business-related field (Added Advantage).
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years total professional experience.
At least 5 years of experience in proactive selling skills within the education or related field (Required).
5 years of experience in Credit Underwriting Skills (Essential).
5 years of experience in Customer Relationship Management (Essential).
3 years of experience in business research and product development (Added Advantage).
2 years of experience in Banking Operations (Desirable).
2 years of experience in Project Management (Added Advantage).
