The Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) was established to provide research-based curricula and curriculum support materials responsive to the needs of society. The role of the Senior Curriculum Development Officer (Indigenous Languages-Secondary) is critical in achieving this mandate by focusing on secondary education curriculum for Indigenous Languages.
