Role Overview
Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager in Nairobi, Kenya. The position will focus on driving revenue growth and market penetration across Eastern Africa by developing channel business plans, cultivating strategic partner relationships, and expanding IT infrastructure and Edge solution opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute channel business plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Identify, recruit, and develop strategic distributors, reseller partners, and system integrators.
- Drive integrated IT infrastructure and Edge solution opportunities across Eastern Africa.
- Lead commercial negotiations and partner business planning activities.
- Enable partner sales and technical teams to effectively position Schneider Electric solutions.
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities through partner networks.
- Launch and execute joint marketing and demand generation initiatives.
- Build strong executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across the ecosystem.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, services, and technical teams to accelerate business growth.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or equivalent discipline.
- An MBA or postgraduate business qualification is advantageous.
- 8+ years of field sales, channel management, business development, or IT infrastructure alliance experience.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and solution development.
- Experience working with distributors, resellers, OEMs, and channel ecosystems.
- Proven success in developing commercial growth strategies.
- Demonstrated experience driving growth initiatives across African markets.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
