The Pharmacy and Poisons Board is the Drug Regulatory Authority established under the Pharmacy and Poisons Act, Chapter 244 of the Laws of Kenya. The Board regulates the Practice of Pharmacy and the Manufacture and Trade in drugs and poisons, aiming to implement the appropriate regulatory measures to achieve the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and quality.
Role Overview
The Senior Assistant Customer Care Officer at this level will entail assisting in managing the board's communications and visitor relations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Receiving and channeling incoming calls to the respective destinations.
Booking outgoing calls and facilitating conversations between callers and receivers.
Carrying out routine testing of exchange lines and switchboard facilities.
Ensuring that defective equipment is repaired accordingly.
Maintaining records of telephone equipment and peripherals.
Updating the calls register by recording the necessary details of calls.
Confirming visitors’ identification documents.
Responding to customer enquiries and directing them to the respective destinations.
Maintaining a register on all complaints raised by customers / visitors.
Providing good customer care service.
Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Diploma in any of the following disciplines: - Mass Communications, Customer Care, Public Relations or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer applications.
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
