Role Overview
KSTVET is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance department based in Nairobi. The role involves managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting for the institution.
Responsibilities
Managing and maintaining the institution's financial records.
Ensuring compliance with government financial regulations and statutory requirements.
Preparing and presenting timely financial statements and reports.
Monitoring budgets and institutional expenditures.
Coordinating both internal and external audit processes.
Supervising junior accounting staff and ensuring efficient operations within the finance department.
Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in a senior-level accounting or finance role.
Knowledge of government financial reporting standards is preferred.
