This role is for a Security Warden III, CSG 15/JG 'E', within the State Department for Livestock Development, Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development. A total of fifty-five (55) posts are available. The position is critical for maintaining security and safeguarding assets within the Ministry's premises.
Terms of Service and Compensation
This is a One (1) year contract position.
Salary Scale (CSG 15/JG 'E'): Ksh. 21,120 increasing incrementally up to Ksh. 26,250 per month.
Allowances and Benefits:
House Allowance: Kshs. 6,500 p.m.
Commuter Allowance: Kshs. 3,000 p.m.
Leave Allowance: Kshs. 6,500 (Once yearly)
Leave Entitlement: 30 working days
Medical Cover: As provided by the government
Duties and Responsibilities
A Security Officer III will operate under the supervision of a Senior Officer. Duties and responsibilities at this level include:
Conducting patrolling and/or guarding of access points.
Ensuring the prevention of unauthorized persons and vehicles from entering premises and/or protected areas.
Collection of security-related information and reporting on matters of security interest.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must meet the following mandatory requirements:
Be in possession of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade D+ (Plus) or its equivalent qualification.
Hold a Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police.
Be less than 36 years of age.
Be physically and mentally fit.
