The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering a three-month industrial attachment program within its Forensics department. This program is designed to provide continuing students with practical work experience in the field of forensic investigations and tax administration security. The attachment is strictly for three months and is not subject to extension. This role offers an opportunity for students to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world investigative environment within one of Kenya's leading public institutions.
Responsibilities
Assist the forensics team in gathering and preserving digital and physical evidence.
Support investigators in conducting research and data analysis related to tax irregularities.
Help in the documentation of investigative findings and the preparation of case reports.
Learn and observe protocols for maintaining the chain of custody for evidence.
Provide general administrative support to the Forensics department as required.
Requirements
Be a Kenyan Citizen aged below 35 years.
Must be a continuing undergraduate student (BA/BSc) in their 3rd, 4th, or final year of study, or a Diploma student in their final year from a recognized University or College.
Possess a valid introduction letter from the University or College.
Must be available full-time for the three-month duration of the program.
Additional Information
Monthly Stipend: KShs. 7,000 for undergraduates and diploma students (subject to applicable statutory deductions).
Required Documents (if selected): Proof of valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, copies of KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, and Bank Account details.
