Security Officer (Danish Embassy)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain security presence and situational awareness at the Danish Embassy assignment.
• Read, interpret, and execute printed regulations and detailed assignment instructions.
• Perform frontline security duties with professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitoring of premises to ensure safety.
• Compose clear and comprehensive reports regarding security status or incidents.
• Adhere to conflict management and de-escalation protocols when necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a minimum grade of D+ (Original certificate required).
• Experience: Prior experience (2-5 years) specifically in diplomatic assignments.
• Literacy: Ability to read, write, and understand complex instructions and regulations.
• Technical: Basic computer literacy and a valid email address are mandatory.
• Documentation: Valid Police Clearance Certificate (not older than six months) and original Kenyan National ID Card.
• Physical Standards: Minimum height of 5’8 ft for men and 5’5 ft for women.
• Health: Must be physically fit and capable of standing or walking for extended periods, supported by a physical fitness certificate from a government hospital or DHP Doctor.
• Age: Candidates must be between 25 years and 35 years old.
• References: Minimum of two letters from traceable referees who can be contacted for screening.
