Job Description

Turnkey Africa is a leading Pan-African insurance technology and services provider, developing end-to-end insurance business software solutions. We are seeking a proactive and target-driven Sales Representative to join our team in Nairobi. The primary focus of this role is to drive the growth of our Agencify platform by recruiting, onboarding, and supporting insurance agents to ensure consistent transaction activity and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Agent Acquisition: Proactively recruit and onboard new insurance agents onto the platform.
Product Demonstrations: Conduct software demos and clearly communicate the value proposition of Agencify to prospective agents.
Onboarding Support: Assist agents in completing the onboarding process and successfully making their first transaction.
Lead Management: Maintain disciplined follow-up to convert leads into active, transacting agents.
Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with agents and keep them engaged through campaigns, updates, and support.
Performance Tracking: Update the CRM daily and track pipeline progress to meet targets.
Growth Objectives: Contribute directly to the growth of Weekly Active Transacting Agents (WAT) and Gross Written Premium (GWP) generation.

Ability to engage agents through both field work and digital channels.

Requirements

Education: BA/BSc or HND qualification.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in sales.
Industry Advantage: Experience in insurance, insurtech, fintech, or distribution sales is highly preferred.
Specific Skillset: Motor insurance sales experience is a strong plus.
Tools: Disciplined approach to CRM usage and pipeline management.
Results: Proven ability to work against targets and deliver results.
