We are seeking a Sales Manager – Courier to lead and manage our sales team and drive business growth in the Kenyan market.
Job Overview
The Sales Manager - Courier will be responsible for leading a team to achieve and exceed sales targets, driving new business development in both B2B and B2C segments, and managing key strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of the courier and logistics landscape in Kenya, including pricing models and Cash on Delivery (COD) operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Drive new business development (B2B & B2C), focusing on high-volume clients.
Lead negotiations for key accounts and strategic partnerships.
Monitor market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies.
Ensure excellent customer experience and retention.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
Experience: 4–6 years’ experience in logistics/courier/freight sales specifically within the Kenyan market.
Leadership: At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Sales Performance: A proven track record in business development and closing high-value deals.
Market Knowledge: Strong knowledge of logistics pricing models and solid understanding of courier services and CODs (Cash on Delivery).
