Hotpoint Appliances Ltd is seeking a dedicated Assistant Branch Manager to oversee store operations and drive growth at our retail outlets. The successful candidate will manage staff performance, ensuring that all work activities align with organizational goals and standards. This role requires providing continuous guidance, support, and feedback to the team to achieve peak performance and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management: Schedule daily operations, allocate tasks to the team, and ensure strict adherence to all company SOPs and policies through regular training.
Sales & Merchandising: Maintain the showroom's visual standards, including optimal product presentation, full stock levels, correct pricing, and alignment of Point of Purchase (POP) materials.
Customer Service: Ensure prompt customer service, assist in closing sales, and resolve customer concerns effectively.
Inventory & Logistics: Oversee monthly stock takes, manage stock holding based on movement data, and process Gate Passes, LTOs, and Stock Movements correctly. Coordinate with the Transport Coordinator for scheduled deliveries.
Performance Tracking: Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and involve the team in sales strategies for maximum results.
Leadership: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to provide constructive feedback, reward excellence, and address areas for improvement. Foster a positive work environment and mediate conflicts fairly.
Administration: Prepare manual delivery notes, process credit notes timely, and coordinate promotions within an approved activation calendar and budget.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing or a business-related course is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, or customer care within a service industry background, specifically in a retail supervisory or management role.
Performance Orientation: Proven ability to understand and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Innovation & Decisiveness: Ability to improve work processes and take action with minimal oversight.
Skills: Excellent communication, trustworthiness, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
