Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing remote sales team.
Establish and monitor sales quotas, KPIs, activity targets, and performance expectations.
Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven sales culture.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Drive execution across the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, product demonstrations, follow-ups, negotiations, and closing.
Develop strategies to improve pipeline velocity, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
Analyze sales performance and identify bottlenecks, growth opportunities, and performance trends.
Implement process improvements to maximize sales effectiveness.
Sales Enablement & Onboarding
Lead onboarding and training for new sales hires.
Coach team members on sales methodologies, objection handling, negotiation techniques, CRM best practices, and communication skills.
Develop and improve sales playbooks, call scripts, outreach messaging, and overall sales processes.
Ensure the team maintains strong product knowledge and market awareness.
Pipeline Management & Forecasting
Review and manage sales pipelines daily.
Monitor deal progression, forecast accuracy, close rates, pipeline health, and sales activity metrics.
Deliver accurate revenue forecasts and performance reports to leadership.
Maintain CRM hygiene and consistent sales documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, and Leadership to improve lead quality, sales messaging, customer handoffs, and revenue operations.
Share customer insights to strengthen marketing and product strategies.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree or equivalent.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in Sales Management, Business Development, Account Management, or Revenue Leadership.
Proven track record of success leading sales teams that consistently achieve or exceed revenue goals.
