CDL Human Resource is seeking a Sales Executive (Security) to drive business growth within the security sector in Nairobi. This role is responsible for identifying prospective clients, conducting security site surveys, and delivering customized security solutions that meet client needs. The successful candidate will implement company sales strategies, manage high-value client relationships, and contribute to the overall expansion of the company's market presence.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Client Acquisition: Identify prospective clients within targeted segments and utilize Sales Force automation platforms to track leads.
Sales Strategy Implementation: Implement company sales strategies and plans while adhering to internal sales procedures.
Consultative Selling: Conduct security surveys to determine clients’ specific requirements and prepare client-focused proposals in collaboration with the Business Development Manager, Operations Manager, and Technical Managers.
Commercial Oversight: Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure correct pricing of products and conduct credit checks for all new clients prior to onboarding.
Onboarding Management: Ensure all contracts and legal documents are signed and presented prior to the commencement of service.
Operations Support: Support the tender team with relevant market information and attend briefing sessions for large-scale projects.
Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence on business growth areas, conduct competitor analysis, and explore diversification opportunities.
Strategic Relationship Building: Present customized solutions to clients and promote the company’s diverse portfolio of products and services to build long-term relationships.
ESG Initiatives: Embrace and promote business development-related ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A University Degree in a relevant field.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience with proven results in a busy business development environment.
Training: Professional training in sales and marketing is highly preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of security product portfolios and general knowledge of the security industry.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Attributes: Must be resourceful, results-oriented, self-driven, and customer-focused with excellent telephone etiquette.
Tools: Proficiency in computer skills and experience with Sales Force or similar CRM automation tools.
