To lead and oversee end-to-end Packtech (packing, documentation, and export logistics) operations, ensuring seamless shipment execution, compliance with global standards, cost optimization, and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
International Business Development
Identify and develop new export markets across regions (Middle East, Europe, Africa, US, etc.).
Appoint and manage distributors, agents, and channel partners.
Generate leads and convert them into long-term customers.
Participate in international trade fairs and exhibitions.
Key Account Management
Manage relationships with existing global customers.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply terms.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Handle escalations and commercial discussions.
Pricing & Commercial Strategy
Develop export pricing considering raw material fluctuations, freight & logistics costs, and market competition.
Maintain target margins (CM1/CM2).
Work closely with internal teams during volatile market conditions.
Export & Import Operations & Documentation
Oversee complete export process including Proforma Invoice, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, LC documentation, BL, and Certificate of Origin.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
Coordinate with logistics, CHA, and freight forwarders.
Supply Chain Coordination
Align with production and planning teams for order execution.
Monitor dispatch timelines and ensure on-time delivery.
Handle challenges like RM shortages and price volatility.
Market Intelligence
Track global trends in packaging (nets, films, woven products, etc.).
Monitor competitor pricing and positioning.
Provide inputs for new product development.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with Procurement (RM sourcing challenges), Finance (payments, LC, forex), and Quality (product specs & certifications).
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of export procedures & documentation
Experience in international sales negotiation
Knowledge of Incoterms, LC terms, forex
Ability to handle price volatility & supply challenges
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strategic thinking with execution focus
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years of experience in exports (Packaging / Plastics / FMCG / Industrial products).
Experience in handling export & import.
