The Sales Executive for the Construction Industry role focuses on driving regional sales growth while overseeing daily showroom operations. The position is centered on expanding market presence within the construction sector and delivering an excellent customer experience to a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth: Drive sales growth within the assigned region by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Product Promotion: Promote and sell construction materials and kitchen appliance solutions to contractors, developers, and individual clients.
Showroom Management: Manage and oversee showroom operations, ensuring products are well displayed and customer-ready.
Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
Lead Management: Handle customer inquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up on sales leads.
Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure product availability.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.
Target Achievement: Achieve and exceed set sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Reporting: Prepare regular sales and performance reports.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in the construction industry, specifically in selling construction materials.
Specialization: Proven experience in sales and showroom management.
Local Knowledge: Strong understanding of the local market in Kisumu.
Education: Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
