Our client is a fast-growing logistics provider offering a full suite of logistics services and supply chain solutions, including sea/air freight, warehousing, and last-mile delivery from China to Kenya. They are looking to hire high-energy and results-driven Sales Executives to expand their footprint and connect more businesses with their prime logistics services.
As the face of the company, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients. Your goal is to drive revenue by selling the suite of logistics services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Hunt for new leads and convert them into active shipping accounts.
Account Management: Maintain and grow existing client portfolios through exceptional service, including handling after-sales issues and improving customer satisfaction.
Solution Tailoring: Understand client pain points and tailor logistics packages to meet their specific needs.
Market Intelligence: Collect market information, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide timely feedback to the company.
Pipeline Tracking: Monitor the sales pipeline and provide regular updates on targets and achievements.
Order Follow-up: Track customer orders, ensure goods are warehoused on time, and promptly notify customers of cargo arrival details and pickup procedures upon arrival at the port.
Requirements & Qualifications
College Diploma or a related field of study.
At least 1-2 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Effective negotiation and "closing" skills.
A self-starter who is resilient, target-driven, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Presentable and well-groomed with a professional attitude.
