About the Role
You will be trained and deployed into real sales and marketing work, with a strong focus on event delegate sales, membership growth support, and client engagement. You will be expected to sell, follow up, close, and deliver results. This is a performance-driven role where incentives are tied to actual sales, not just effort.
Key Responsibilities
Event Sales: Drive event delegate sales through structured outreach and follow-ups.
Membership Growth: Support membership recruitment and renewals.
Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a sales pipeline (leads to conversion).
Sponsorship Prospecting: Assist in sponsorship prospecting and proposal follow-ups.
Marketing Support: Assist in event marketing campaigns and client experience.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to post-event feedback and conversion improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree.
Persistence: Disciplined with follow-ups and comfortable with targets, numbers, and rejection.
Interpersonal Skills: Naturally persuasive and confident in conversations.
Soft Skills: Curious, coachable, reliable, professional, and detail-oriented.
Bonus Qualifications: Prior exposure to sales, marketing, or business development and familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
