We are searching for a committed, deadline-driven Sales and Collections Intern to join our excellent sales team in Embu. The sales intern will complete all tasks assigned by the manager, which may include conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, generating sales leads, making cold calls, participating in meetings, and assisting the Sales and Collections team.
Key Responsibilities
Collaboration & Support: Work in pairs with Business Development Officers and Collections Officers to achieve branch targets.
Team Environment: Support and maintain an excellent work environment to meet specified objectives.
Customer Service: Deliver first-rate customer service to all clients.
Reporting & Market Feedback: Assist in accurate and timely reporting of Management Information (MI) and market feedback regarding customer preferences, trends, and market opportunities.
Debtor Management: Assist in contacting debtors to request and receive payments.
Debt Recovery: Assist in following up on defaulters to recover outstanding payments.
Client Engagement: Carry out customer education and actively maintain strong customer relationships.
Lead Generation: Generate viable sales leads.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: A good level of general education, possessing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree.
Background: Education background in Sales or Marketing.
Skills: Strong computer literacy.
Preferred Experience: Experience in a related field and/or within a financial institution will be an added advantage.
