Peach Cars is an e-commerce solution revolutionizing car ownership in sub-Saharan Africa. We leverage technology and robust offline operations to deliver quality, convenience, and value in the automotive marketplace. As a Sales Admin Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales process, developing strong organizational and communication skills in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Specifically, the Sales Admin Intern will be trained to undertake the following tasks:
Assist in coordinating checks on vehicle status, including logbook ownership, and communicate findings to internal teams.
Support buyers and sellers throughout the administrative steps of the sales process.
Clearly explain sales administration procedures (agreement preparations, payments, ownership transfers, and insurance) to set expectations for timelines and outcomes.
Guide customers through sales documentation, addressing any questions they may have.
Ensure all documentation is properly signed and maintain KYC records, organizing files both online and offline.
Help coordinate the physical handover of vehicles with the fleet team and conduct pre-handover checks to ensure vehicles are clean and ready for delivery.
Assist in the coordination of logbook-related services, including ownership transfers and pickups.
Introduce our services and pricing to buyers and monitor the status of logbook ownership via Ecitizen accounts.
Follow up with sellers regarding the cancellation of active insurance policies and assist buyers in obtaining new ones.
Coordinate payment processes with the finance team and ensure transaction receipts are shared promptly with customers.
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders.
A customer-focused mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented desire to learn.
Experience with the NTSA portal on the eCitizen platform (logbook transfers) is an added advantage.
