Ideon Limited is seeking a Risk and Compliance Officer to join its team in Nairobi. Ideon provides end-to-end business-enabling services that help organizations expand and optimize operations across different industries while maintaining strict codes of ethics, confidentiality, and practice standards.
Role Overview
The Risk and Compliance Officer will be responsible for evaluating risk factors, maintaining regulatory compliance standards, and ensuring full alignment with legal and organizational governance frameworks within the financial services sector.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
Professional certification (or progress toward one) such as CPA, CRISC, CAMS, ACAMS, or ICA Diploma in Compliance is an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years' overall work experience in a financial services environment.
At least 1 year of experience in Risk, Compliance, Audit, or AML/CFT is an added advantage.
Experience in the microfinance sector is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience working in a bank, microfinance institution (MFI), digital lender, or SACCO is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements is an added advantage.
