Resident Medical Officer / Clinic Lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelor of Surgery from a recognized university (MBChB or MBBS)
• Registered and with a valid license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council
• At least one (1) year post-internship experience in either a public or private hospital
• Certificate in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Knowledge of healthcare policies, documentation, and reporting procedures
• Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information Systems)

Desirable Skills

• Strong clinical decision-making and patient management skills
• Interest in leading a medical team, managing staff, and overseeing clinical operations
• Project management and report writing skills
• Leadership experience, financial knowledge, e.g., budgeting, cost management, basic accounting
• Knowledge of the laws of Kenya regulations, guidelines, and health schemes
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff, patients, and other stakeholders
