Role Overview
The Emergency Medical Technician III position is responsible for providing pre-hospital emergency medical care, stabilizing patients in emergency situations, and providing safe transportation to health facilities within Garissa County.

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
A Certificate or Diploma in any of the following disciplines:
Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Emergency Medical Technology
Pre-Hospital Care
Paramedicine
Or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
A valid EMT certification or training recognized in Kenya.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from a recognized institution.
A valid practicing licence where applicable.
A valid Class BCE driving licence with Public Service Vehicle (PSV) endorsement (may be required for ambulance operator roles).
Computer application skills.
Good communication, teamwork and emergency response skills.
